Fusion #4 Page 14

Here's page 14 of Fusion #4.
I know I've mentioned it before (and Al's commented on it as well), but I've been working on Crossoverkill (www.drunkduck.com/crossoverkill), which is part of the reason Fusion has been updating a bit slower the past few weeks. The first 3 pages will feature art by me, and a bit of Fusion.
Anyway, I should be back to a regular schedule for Fusion in the next two weeks.

I think we need to visit that doctor... with a Mossberg
Ozmandious at 4:50PM, Oct. 24, 2010
hey, Doctor Doom as a psychiatrist...
Xade at 6:17AM, Oct. 19, 2010
hmm, I like her, she doesn't always jump in guns blazing. and I thought she had moved up the line, here's a quick word of advice, the duck has a schedule feature; back when I was updating and I woul;d finish late I would schedule it for the next day, that way more people notice it

I like the concept of the twisted doctor, it's not like anything I've ever read, and it's great to see something actually fresh and original.

I haven't read much of this comic yet, but I love it because pages like this show it follows an abnormally compassionate superhero dealing with real life situations in kind and compassionate ways, something most superhero comics I read gloss over by replacing with lots of explosions, fighting, or short meaningless lines of dialogue or witty banter (I love the witty banter though).

This reminds me of Marvel Knights Fantastic Four where that guy is about to jump. Those captions certainly do. This is very nice, calming down with talking hero stuff straight after punching hero stuff.
irrevenant at 4:40PM, Oct. 16, 2010
Fusion is very quickly becoming the superhero who doesn't fight stuff. I like it, it's novel.
silverdragon1 at 2:34PM, Oct. 16, 2010
"at a certain time"? sounds like he's bait.

Tobimaro--Glad you like how Fusion operates. jamoecw--From the guard's conversation on the preceding page, Fusion already knows they don't have guns, so she knows Barry's safe--at least until backup arrives, although with a Super talking to the guy, I suspect that any police would wait to see what happens before shooting.

this doctor like to mess people up OR he expected fusion to be there
maycroft at 8:28PM, Oct. 15, 2010
And that's why I hate therapy
jamoecw at 8:24PM, Oct. 15, 2010
she's only a hero if she lied to the guy about needing to be powered up to stop bullets, otherwise she is just like a kid who is trying to fix a downed power line without tools and gloves, and being a liar as well (she did say she could keep him from getting shot).
Tobimaro at 6:05PM, Oct. 15, 2010
Wow. This is something that you would not see in most super hero comics. I am glad to have faved this comic. Keep up the GREAT work! (I'd give you a 10 if DD would allow it.)

aqua 77--Fusion is Cambodian; all of the traps are in Thailand.
aqua 77 at 6:00PM, Oct. 15, 2010
in the words of akbar "ITS A TRAP!!"
AzuJOD at 4:16PM, Oct. 15, 2010
That guy's had it rough...
alschroeder at 12:33PM, Oct. 15, 2010
Now THERE's a hero. Powering down and making herself vulnerable to make herself empathic to a crazed gunman. BTW, Fusion herself narrates and appears in the latest page of CROSSOVERKILL, drawn by Essaybee himself.
smkinoshita at 10:59AM, Oct. 15, 2010
Fusion... put your shield back on. NOW. Am I the only one who smells a trap here?
TuuronTour at 9:56AM, Oct. 15, 2010
Doctor Death?
RPGgrenade at 9:44AM, Oct. 15, 2010
sounds like a new supervillan... EMPATHY!!!
Pieguy259 at 9:14AM, Oct. 15, 2010
I'm thinking Thermo and Crosshair aren't the only supervillains involved...
Loud_G at 8:57AM, Oct. 15, 2010
Wow, that Doctor guy is messed up :O
