Fusion #4 Page 35

Here's page 35 of Fusion #4. Not much to say about this page, other than I hope no one is too offended by Fusion's language in the last panel–she certainly won't be making a habit of it, and it's just something she blurted out without giving me any warning. At least I have some editorial control with my black censor boxes.
We're entering the final stretch of this issue (just the rest of this scene and a brief epilogue to go), so things are about to get more serious–and there's still 3 more major villains to introduce (which–and I'm including the 2 Speedsters as villains–will bring the villain count in this issue to 8).

Those two have an awesome banter going. Fusion's last line was perfect. Completely unexpected, but I guess that's part of what makes it perfect.

you can just feel the love between them like a fart building up in x-pletive's behind XD

smkinoshita at 8:35PM, May 17, 2011
LOL -- Xplentative's gotta laugh at that one.

And I love you, F%#@ing author, for an awesome update.

@jamoecw: X-pletive said "Novice", not "Amateur", so "Veteran" would be an appropriate response - it means "someone who's been in a line of work for a long time", whilst "novice" means someone who hasn't. In other words... "Kids these days" and "Whatever, gramps" :p
alschroeder at 11:28AM, May 17, 2011
Of COURSE Brooder was there the whole time.
jamoecw at 11:22AM, May 17, 2011
ya, veteran is generally not used correctly. i will forgive her, as it is merely a product of her environment. though if she makes a habit of it i'll have to correct her and tell her to say f*ing professional. kids and their language these days, makes you wonder what they learn in school.
Eoraptor at 11:02AM, May 17, 2011
I take no offense at all. XD I think it's a quite natural reaction after spending her evening exposed to Expletive, and good storytelling. but then again, you and I seem to have slightly different PoV's on story telling, so it's up to you to decide, but I like it.

I feel the @#%&-ing love in this page.
