Also, her powers can convert directly to kinetic energy, so there's no actual combustion as there is with a jet's engine, so she can also fly "cool" (aside from the friction in the air). This also makes her fusion energy more potent, since the only secondary energy her powers create is light (unless she wants a heat shell around herself, for example, to incinerate bullets).
zgrssd: Most radars detects object which are in range only once per sweep very poorly. Also, she may be invisible to most due to doppler shift. I mean, how fast you think she is moving? Can easily be mach 40.
If anybody looks at the sky in Infrared he will see a REALLY big Trail. If she cannot be seen with the Naked Eye anyway. And I guess military radar devices in this world have the ablity to detect human sized flyers anyway.
