tupapayon--Yep. I think it's safe to assume that Lord's only real interest in Darmar was in the secret Drainomyte mine. I think this "averted" civil war was part of his plan for Darmar all along, and Fusion's activities, at worst (for him) forced him to bump up his timetable or else gave him the opportunity he was looking for to put his plan in motion.
