Immune might not be the right term, but she can fuse radiated matter so that's it's harmless (or so she can use it for her own physiological needs). Reality/matter in the Space Out of Time doesn't conform to our rules, but at least it's not fatal to folks from our multiverse. (Well, not immediately fatal, anyway.)

Fusing radiated matter? I'm talking about radiation itself. Well, I guess you can fuse alpha particles, but not beta or gamma.
