Man, so apropos for me. We put my mother's remains in the ground this past weekend. Both my brother and I talked about how long some times were with her and now, looking back, how short those times seemed now. Of course, Mom's older sister had us all beat as having shared a bedroom with her for 15 years, back in the 1930's and 1940's.
It does not take the space-outside-time for a moment to take forever and a lifetime to seem like never enough.

Very sorry to hear. My dad passed away 8 years ago, and that was very much on my mind for this scene.
