For some reason I get a baaad feeling from that last panel… maybe it’s because he has his finger on the trigger, I have never taken any gun courses, but i know that you should not have your finger on/near the trigger unless your ready to fire.
interestingly that is one of the things that has changed over time, if you look at ww2 pictures of soldiers with their weapons, almost every one of them will have their finger on the trigger, which is also why period firearms often have the safety inside the trigger guard

Agreed. Though my mind assumes the gun is somehow booby trapped.
