Chapter 3: Page 18

EDIT: I fixed the small text. Blame me working on this page zoomed in for 4 days. Sorry about that! Hope it looks better now!
Hello I'm back! I've worked on and off on this page for the past while. It was definitely a quicker update then the other pages lately, although I'm sorry it wasn't quicker. This page was almost completely done in manga studio. I love, love, love a million times love the inking feature! It is gonna save me a lot of time and money! Doesn't the inking look great? I have an unsteady hand so I've always had kind of messy inking, but the program has a feature that corrects your lines as you draw. Amazing! I really recommend manga studio to everyone! If I had the money I would buy the full version with all the many tones and stuff, but this one is great for the 40 dollars I paid compared to Manga studio EX which is 200 dollars!
Anyway, I've gone off on another story again. Like I said in my last update you get to find out more about Adrian and the other patients. Isn't he cute? :P
Does anyone recognize the city there? Its a real picture. I tried drawing it….. I failed. Seriously, I'm not made for drawing perspective. I have a defect or something :P
I'm excited this week! My best friend from Japan is coming to visit me! This is the same friend I went to see myself last year at the same time of year. Next page might be a little late because of that since I won't start it right away like I usually do (the pencilling's not even finished yet) but I'll do my best! See ya and good luck for anyone nominated for an award!

I adore this. It really does represent the struggles one faces when a friend has a terminal disease such as cancer. It's very touching, and the art is fantastic. I do so hope you continue with this, I really am enjoying it. Bravo.

Hey, I've just read through the entirety of this story. I think it's absolutely beautiful. Very, very sad, but you are doing an absolutely wonderful thing in both spreading awareness about the disease and supporting the people who deal with it. I think that this is a very honourable comic, and statement, and the art and characters are beautiful. I really hope that this comment helps to motivate you and get you updating again. I have done work with both adults and children that have special needs (including cerebral palsy and Down's Syndrome, and other illnesses, including life-limiting ones like leukemia) so I know how heart-breaking and yet heart-warming this can be. You truly must be a beautiful soul to do this comic, and all other charitable works related to children suffering from leukemia/other cancers. Thank you, and also, I hope your mother rests in peace, and that you and your family are coping with your loss. xx

I put in a couple of votes for Ethereal but I think maybe you have been gone too long and people have lost touch a bit. The art is really impressive btw and the blending of photos works really well. It's really nice that she enjoys the view as hospital scenery is usually so unstimulating!!! Hope you have lots of fun with your friend:) !!!

Hi there! Good to see you back again! one small issue...could you upload a slightly larger page? The text is small and quite hard to read! Other than that you're right the inking and toning on this is beautiful! Welcome back once again!
