Since I had some success with vectoring lettering I decided to try vector inking. So everything in black is vector, and everything else is raster inking.

I think the vector inking was crisper, but I prefer how the raster layer resized. The vector layer looks like it lost the line width variation I liked.

When drawing the because my laptop is a bit underpowered I draw on 8.5 x 11“ at 350dpi. For the web version I trim the page at 6.75 x 10.25” and resize it to the width of 718 pixels. I guess I don't really have to do it that way, but it saves me a lot of time and brainpower now. I use a macro to handle the resizing and I no longer eyeball the trim, which is what I did when I started out and was still drawing on paper.
