oh what is a princess to do….
I'm keeping up with the daily updates just like I promised. before you know it, end of Act 1 will be here. This is a 2 part story. So I'm opening up a chance for anyone to do some guest art for me to put as a divider between the two acts. It could be of Allerlierauh, or of any grimm fairytale that you want though allerleirauh perferred. you can send them to me via, Private Quack (I think) or YuiPweeLi.deviantart.com, or even at my email, at AP_Athy@hotmail.com. I hope to see some fun pieces come in =)

"in the story i read, the wife only made him promise to marry someone like her, not that she wanted him to marry his daughter. my version it says that, "one day the king saw that in every respect she was like his late wife, and suddenly felt a violent love for her" so its not exactly the wife's fault, but I see what you mean about using his wife to justify his craziness! =) " yeah, I never said that the wife made him promise to marry his daughter, just somebody who looked exactly like her. and since it's almost impossible for somebody to look exactly like her unless they're related.... well, you get the idea. yeah.

Owie... that's so... creepy. And the hyper way of the king underlines that. I like the way you present the stories... and most of all I like the language you are using for them. Keep it up.

you know, in the original version I read, the wife actually never had the king make an promise to marry somebody that looked exactly like her. in the story, the king was basically so obsessed with his love for his wife that he wouldn't take anybody that didn't look exactly like her... and ended up wanting the daughter. then later on, they changed the story so that it was the wife who made him promise such a thing. That way the mother would be blamed for the father wanting something as henious as his own daughter. classic way of putting blame on an woman, wouldn't you say? it's never the guy's fault... first Eve, then parodoa and her box, etc. I was just wondering if you knew that. ^^;;
