I'm from Europe. When we complain about the USA, which we do quite often, it isn't because you are very bad, but because we somehow expect better from you. You were supposed to be the shining beacon of Freedom, Democracy and Justice... but then then... you turn out to be just an ordinary country with all the wrinkles and warts that comes with that. Urgh. Disappointed!
