The room is all bent and twisted to give a uneasy feeling. Some may think that i just messed up the perspective when that really isn't the case. This time anyway. ;)
The ocean voyage is to point towards a disaster that occurred and took his wife's life.
Really like the art and writing of this. I especially like the fish-eyed background of the first panel. I always think that distorted images are tricky to pull off well, and it adds much to the atmosphere of the tale.
Enter Ligeia? Hmmm the story definitely has an E.A.Poe feel to it. I like your artwork, and how instead of separate panels, the subsequent images blend into one another.
