I love the last two lines. I read them and they went together so well. They also went very well with the picture. This comic is very lovely- print-worthy for sure! In a way, it seems like Neil Gaiman's works- the feeling of the stories and the way their told do, anyway. It's just... beautiful. I look forward to more.
after i read the first story-ive found my mind thinking about this comic for days now.
I think the techniques are great. the colors are great. it definately has a hand-crafted feel even though (i think) its been colored in photoshop.
I like the way 1 page contains many scenes. It's perfect for when you scroll down. The fact that this is onlinw works to its advantage.
Thanks for all the comments. I think you will enjoy what ive got going in this new story. :)
Darwin-
I wasnt gonna go rhymes in this story, but it wasn't the same without it.
ZoeStead-
It's all done with plenty of blurs and MANY layers. The clouds have three layers mixed together with different oppacity. Same goes for the water and the smoke. Each page goes up to 400-500 meg when opened up in PS.
I realy liked the comic book so far, I'm a big fan of the old forms of storytelling somehow they are more captivating and you get more immersed into it.
You're comic is amazing. It's absolutely captivating. I've never read anything like it, well...not in comic form anyway. The compostion of your pages is incredibly, and the text just works so well. You rock!
Congrats on getting featured Vega...great honor that! This comic certainly deserves it!
Lovely start, you know this prose is rather growing on me...
Great way to tell a story that is for sure!
Looking forward to more.

this is probably the best coloring I've ever seen outside of professional comics. Probably better than most pros.

Nice page, with a lot of mood. The woman's head looks slightly unbalanced in that first panel though.
