Great perspective in that last panel! Thats the kinda of thing you need to focus on and things will start to loosen up and everyhing will begin to feel more real and relaxed.
Also you've got something down that every one needs. backgrounds. make sure to keep those going. Also you've got great talent at them buildings.
On ward. As darth mongoose as pointed out the balck paneling makes things really dark. but it works the same way with white space. try to use as much space as possible with your panels.
I like to do that floating head myself, but it never really looks good if its surronded by nothing but black.
So utilize all your space.
Excellent perspective on the bench there not so sure about the black guttering though, it's very dark and makes the pale lines and colours on the rest of the page look wishy-washy by comparison. maybe try inking your lines, or go for white or light coloured guttering?
