Ive done it. Ive just published my first Kindle book. After weeks of coaxing the thing into a Kindle-shaped entity, Gail Scott Issue #1 is now in the form of a short, illustrated book and loading itself, as I write, into a Kindle bookstore near you.
This is not exactly the same as the first issue of Gail Scott: Space Pilot, the webcomic, available here on Drunk Duck. Comics in the shape of a 1950s sf book dont really fit in a Kindle screen. So Ive written the story in text form and added key frames from the comic as illustrations and, I must say the final result has a charm all of its own.
So give it 24 hours and then have a look on your Amazon Kindle store for Gail Scott: Who Is Mr Mentor? and download it straight away. Excelsior! as the great man often says.
