I'm so tired. I'm still not happy with this but the story must go on. (I wasn't running out of room for the text, he's just not very convinced of his argument and continually getting quieter as he goes on…)

I respect you as an artist (because you have an artistic ability) and a man for you didn't flake out while commenting me. It urks me though when someone without a brain or artistic skills insults something that is clearly better; and took more effort upon. The Clock Crew takes alot of this kind of heat upon bandwagoning idiots at Newgrounds I don't want it to start here.

If I had to live with her, I'd leave too.
Randal at 1:22AM, Feb. 20, 2006
that's the point, iago, she's not such a duckling. and she doesn't have the shakes, she's rattling the advertisement at her dad.
iagojester at 12:00AM, Feb. 20, 2006
What a well educated duckling!
Radmetalmonk at 11:43PM, Feb. 19, 2006
she needs to calm the shakes...
magicalmisfits at 8:10PM, Feb. 19, 2006
Mine are getting closer to that. She-who-must-be-obeyed and I have a secret calander where we mark off the days. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha.
Tamerlane at 7:29PM, Feb. 19, 2006
I love her expression in the last panel! perfect
coinilius at 7:10PM, Feb. 19, 2006
Hey cool - glad you liked the suggestion :) Are you going to leave the 'you too, daddy?' version up somewhere as well, for posterity's sake?
Randal at 6:02PM, Feb. 19, 2006
you make a good point, Coin. And I like your compromised suggestion. =)
coinilius at 5:14PM, Feb. 19, 2006
I wouldn't say the 'Et tu' ending was too cerebral.. I always thought that was fairly well established in the old public lexicon? Maybe just 'et tu, Daddy?' rather than 'et tu, Brute.' 'You too' doesn't have the same humourous impact, IMO.

He needs to leave her a big bowl of food and a bowl of water. Hopefully she won't tip the bowl of water over*.! Another good lookin' comic. You should seriously pimp this out to your local newspaper! *Not stolen from Elijah and Azuu.

Very nice comic! It makes me laugh, which, I imagine, was the point. ^_^

bwahahahaha
coinilius at 5:46AM, Feb. 19, 2006
Well, it's not that bad a strip... it keeps the storyline moving and is funny enough. Trying to balance a punch-line and an evolving storyline can be a tough one to do, but this is working quite well.
Randal at 5:45AM, Feb. 19, 2006
and do what with doug? Gene's place is pretty small. =)
Ozoneocean at 5:28AM, Feb. 19, 2006
Ah, he's gotta make some provision for the poor gal... That'd get her off his back. She could move in with Gene?
