Brad McGee displays his persausive powers.
And that isn't any one gun in particular, although it is based off of a real weapon in general. Yay for reference books!
Oh, and HERE is yet another doodle-thing, done on some scrap paper while I was juggling stuff about my manuscript.

Hm... it's always better to stay alive a little longer.

Personally, I'm a fan of the kid-painted pictures in the background. MUA HA HA! Your details are tre magnifique. May I just say that simply opening your page after days of not being able to touch the internet makes my eyes water with happiness. So much color and beauty! I just... (sigh) Gnoph has really become this inextricable part of my life's artistic happiness.

Yay for watercolor paper! I'm confused on where the happy bye bye place is.. oooh I guess I wait and see.

I'm glad you guys are liking the shading - I'm trying to exploit the fact that I've switched over to real watercolor paper to allow for more water-laden panels and bleeds. I did Brad's pouch by a wash, and then pulling ink through it with a big fat squirrel hair brush. And don't worry: I may be pulling the docs from the immediate story, but they are certainly going to be appearing again later. . .

Fun page for us, if not for the medical professionals. I second ejb's admiration of the blending on Brad's clothes, and extend my own to the blending on the pouch and silencer. Hooray for texture! I really like the doodle, actually - Brad's expression seems. . . uplifting, for lack of a better word. I think that's because I have the same expression (tip my head back and tight smile) when I suddenly think of something nice. And something about the rounder nose and lips you gave him in the sketch makes him look friendlier, or maybe less predatory. Like he's looking forward to his day off in a spare moment.

Even the illusion of choice can be comforting sometimes. Standouts on this page for me are the highlights on the fingernails and the not quite evenly blending colors on Brad's clothes.

aww...I bet the happy place isn't nearly as fun to watch though.... T_T

Gee, you think I would have noticed that symbol before... The second panel really caught my eye, The pouch's shading looks very realistic! I had to stare at it for a while to make sure Brad should write speeches, he is skilled with words :)

Janet's soooo going to kick Goggles's tush.... Or perhaps that's wishful thinking on my part.

*first post dance* Woo, looks like a mix between maybe a Luger stock and firing hammer with the shaft of a 9mm?
