[128] Liberation: Castration

Now he has learnt his lesson.

One thing I like about doing sprite comics is my entire focus is on the writing and it's easy to make the pages look good. This means every single effort that I put into comic pages goes directly into the writing, which is what I prefer, although good art is also necessary (Not perfect, brilliant, etc. but I like to be able to tell what the characters are doing) but to me, it's the story that makes a comic.

I can read a comic drawn terribly that every one hates because of that fact as long as it's story and such are good. Problem with comics is it's all about the art. If the authors of Charby the Vampirate, Earthbound, Jump, Brood Knight , etc. started slacking on their writing and focussed on their art, people would still read them.

Meanwhile, if Elijah & Azuu, Bad Guy High, Life & Death, Dogs Eye View, etc. started dropping their art for writing, only the truely loyal would stick around.

It's a sad fact of webcomics. Another one is that many people don't read the rants authors put up. If you are one of these people who did read this, thank you.

Until next time
