I made a boo boo and drew myself to a corner.
I intended for the logs to be cut and bound by the harness and have him carry it on his back. As i drew it, he turned out monstrously strong, and the harness not long enough, so I thought he'd sling one log over his shoulder instead. Then he's left with no hands for the flowers and axe, so I had to go back to the previous page and add in the harness on him, so the axe can be holstered.

yeah, he's happy....for now, don't think it'll last long though. ;) midge28 - Yes, I wanted him to chop it in one sweep, given that his axe is really sharp. I wondered if that is technically possible, but in a fantasy world, why not? I also gave the tree a little heart rot, weakening its constitution to make it plausible. He's eco-friendly too y'know, clearing only dying wood.

nice recovery I must say. did he take that tree down with one swipe with the ax? That's amazing if he did! I really love the controlled color scheme. many go overboard with colors but you have kept it simple and controlled. great job.

Welcome onboard! And many thanks to those who fave this! DAJB- I thought he looked cool with the log over his shoulder, and it shows that he is strong, but not ridiculously strong. My initial sketch had him slouching with several logs strapped to his back and he looked like a turtle...lol
