Thanks for the vote people, but I'm not really concerned about being featured. I'm quite excited about the story and trying to hurry along and actualise it... about 6 to 7 pages more and the action starts.
dueeast - Ooo Romita Jr is also an influence, love his work on Daredevil, but Silvestri is head honcho in my books. His works on X-men kicks serious @$$, great storytelling with his dramatic angles, moods and dynamic pencil work on anatomy. I still wish he'd draw more stuff.
I can see the Sylvestri influence. Cool! I was wondering. I saw some similarities in your inking to John Romita, Jr. but that didn't quite jibe with the thin lines. Then you mentioned Sylvestri and it all made sense. Thanks! I loved his Moon Knight...
Oh yeah. This is deeefinitely getting featured. I mean, just look at it... 10 pages and I'm already enthralled.
Or at least it better be. 'Cuz if it isn't, well, I'm gonna have to start kickin' some ass.
Nice page.
Midge28 - I've replaced it. The previous one was indeed very saturated. Many thanks to DAJB for the feedback.
nholdenuk - Welcome onboard and thanks! My art influences are mostly from Silvestri mainly, Lee and Turner, but still far from those pros.
I'm really enjoying this so far. so many webcomics today are just throw-away re-hashes of stories told a thousand times.
With this you seem to be taking alot of time and care to make it just right.
I'm totally digging the art you seem to have a Michael Turner-esque style going on, which is a good thing in my book.
I've faved it and and you can consider me a fan.
Hmmm you're right, it's a little glowy and saturated, was alright on my screen before, didn't check after I posted it. They look a tad too yellowish, like suffering from jaundice, lol.
I'll repost once I adjust the colours.
That food looks kind of glowy. Ma sure knows how to cook! And, yay, for the return of the fairy!
Oh ... nearly forgot to say how gorgeous this page is. Which would have been a shame. Because it is.
:D
