Ever look back and hate everything that you have done? And wish you can do it better? Or get so engross in doing that you get lost and not know what you are doing?
I can genuinely say that I never, ever feel that way about my art. I do the best I can with every page, so, while I do look back & see how I had so much to learn, I am never ashamed of the original effort. The old stuff *should* be inferior to the new stuff, or I'm not pushing myself. As much as I've grown now, in comparison to my earlier work, I hope I'll look back in the future at this now "superior" work & realize how much I've grown.
Your work is great. I've no doubt it'll be great 10 pages from now, & greater still ten pages after that. Move forward. Never slow your forward momentum by going backwards.
At leas that's my theory.
Faved!
Ah! Quite frustrating, when i keep rereading the script and the tenses & language become blurred and meaningless in my mind... also trying to condense a lot of information in the limited page and determining what to/not to reveal at this stage or at a later stage... plus maintaining balance/continuity as a story book vs weekly updated standalone page is also challenging...urgh I'm ranting.
Anyway there's an Ironman movie contest going on where I am and I'm thinking of entering. Have finished the design of a new armour for Stark, will post it here in a while once I'm done.
Back in my superhero comics days, I had whole strings of issues that I later decided "never happened" and picked up at the last "good" issue.
Great page and great introspection of the character!
Well, whether we like it or not, nothing is ever going to come out like we pictured in our heads.
Anyhow, this definitely leads me to feel quite curious. ;)
Almost always have that moment of loathing for work I've just done ... but a couple of days later I can usually see it with fresh eyes.
Use our fresh eyes if you need 'em. This page is a treat!

DeFiNitLy..... more times than I could shake a stick. mmm.... more of a better understanding of the character, imo.
