Joff- Hee. It is indeed. ;)
Bunny- Me too! *Sigh* I wonder if I could make out out of cardboard... ;)
Gregory- Wow, thankyou very much! My icon is based on a photo from a couple of years ago, so my hair's a lot longer now. ^_^ And my bedroom doesn't look like that any more. It's not even my room any more, they gave it to my little brother since I'm almost-moved-out. Sad!
The technical errors are bugging me. His hook switched hands AGAIN in the one I'm drawing now, but I like the hand I drew so much I haven't the heart to change it. I'll pick a hand and stick with it after this. :D The thumb being on the wrong side... wow, I feel stupid now. I forgot I was sat FACING THE DRAWING when I looked at my own hand to see how it was. ^_^ Oh dear. Serves me right for doing these in the small hours when I can't sleep.
I'm almost 20, but, barring pirate kidnappings, I'll be getting married in August. I'd still be happy to give you that game or two of Monkey Island and couple of black eyes, though. ;)
And to your final remark I say: "I look THAT much like your fiancee?" :D
Good pirate comics made by a hot cartoon character of a girl, who in turn must have a fascination with pirates as well as at least a cursory knowledge of manitees similar to my own might just be the greatest thing in the world. Just one question remains: Are you single and legal? Well...that was kinda two, but I hope you'll pardon the technicality.
Though your coloring may be overdone (which is far better than underdone) and there are small technical errors (did you know that either his hook switched hands or his thumb is on backwards in the second panel?) this is still an enjoyable comic. You've got some great composition, like ending the comic like you did. I can only imagine the two of them dividing up the sleeping crew to take teams in the ensuing battle. That's comedy!
I read part way through the recent archives and I've enjoyed myself. I try to get through everything before I start favorite'ing, but for you and your comic named Grog, what should be a blatant Monkey Island reference, I'll make an exception. You've hit a soft spot.
Keep making these comics and I'll keep coming back and imagining just who is behind them.
The Lone Terror stikes! How does he manage it.. reports suggest he is just one man?! He must be a legendary fighter... Or a ghost!
... This is how Legends are born ^_^

Nice comic!

"Barring pirate kidnappings" you say? Hmmm... Methinks I foresee whacky hijinks ensuing...

He's a real smooth operator, by the looks of things :P

Bah! I realized I'd left a comment earlier, and totally put the comic in the back of my head. To that I say: my bad. But, whenever Monkey Island 5: Return to Monkey Island comes out, I'd be more'n happy to play it with you and subsequently begin a long, lasting relationship that'll end violently over an argument about maritime law and practice that'll leave me with a couple of black eyes and a lowered self-esteem. I look forward to it, hows about you? You're as repulsive as a monkey in a négligée!
