ok so the first fram is the refrection on the forklift in Leon's eye. it he middle frames (theres 2) is kinda displaying the way Leon saw thinks for 8 monthes! And about Leon's mother, Leon became very depressed and never really left his room for much! His mother suffered so much she commited suicide becuase she could no longer bear the pain her son had placed upon her. Although Leon never ment for his mother to take her life!
