Perhaps the accident was that one of them was at the top of the stairs and the other was at the bottom and then the one at the top fell and at exactly that point in time both their pants flew open when they landed on each other. IT'S SO PLAUSIBLE- IT MUST BE IT! (btw love the baby 'I'm a bastard' heheh)
