Back to college

There is an update before this, so please click back :D
Yup. I start college tomorrow. I really don't want to go back. I have to get up at 6:30 in order to walk 2 and a half miles to get to college. I'm really worried because college severely messed me up emotionally last year, and I'm so, so worried it'll be the same this year.
Hopefully me taking new courses will help that to improve.

Hilarie- I will if you will :) Tommym- You are right, of course. It is good to have my past year's experiences to prepare me. And hehe I am already doing drama as a subject, and I am in a Creative Writing club where we can write and then read out to the class, so they already get to see some of my Gothic Literature.

Dear liyttle Swan, Well you now know what to expect and can adjust to it. thats a big advantage over last year. You will be a year older and all those seniors are now gone:)May be you can look in to starting a goth club under the guise of History, English, 1850--1910 literaure Or the drama club:) Tommy

Corey- It's okay, what you said is advice enough, thanks :) Sounds funny that you throw soft balls at your class... to be honest, that makes you sound like a good teacher. My best ones were always humorous and used to throw stuff like that at us :D And hehe thank you, I will definitely keep an open mind and I'm sure I will make it through too! Thank you for your comment and your nice words :) Xenny- Thanks for wandering over here. You're so kind hun- Your comment made me smile, thank you for caring so much ^^ I am okay, thank you very much for asking. I am feeling better, actually. College isn't going as badly as I thought (will soon start work on the next page, which is about that). Being at college does mean I have less time, but I do have a few free periods during the week so if homework is done (which I'm determined WILL happen this year), then I will have more time to draw pages! I'm so sorry that there hasn't been a 7D page in ages, but this first week back has been so hectic. I hope to make a start on the next page tomorrow (in a free period, no less :]) Thank you for your lovely comment, it always cheers me to hear people are enjoying my work. And thank you, I will try not to pressurize myself (something I'm guilty of doing quite often, hehe.) You take care too, my friend.

I was just wondering how things are going for you now you've started back. I really hope you're feeling okay. Does being back at college mean you won't have time to hang out on here? I hope not as I've been enjoying Seven Damnations so much! But you must do what you need to do and not put yourself under any pressure.

well.... I wish I had some advice for you, but sadly I don't. It has been so long that I had to feel peer pressure from classmates, and my current job, I take a lot of the stress out on the kids I teach (attack them with unbelievably soft balls that only hurt if you take a direct hit in an open eye), so I wont give you any advice.... but, just keep an open mind, and remember, if us old people can make it through it (without computers or MP3 players) you will find a way!

Ulrika- You're totally right of course. I know that they do make me stronger, and yet sometimes it just feels so much easier to take the other option and back out. I know that I won't though, so I'll make myself last okay. And thank you for the hopes hun :) I hope so too. Peipei- That's exactly the same as what happened to me in my first year college. Although I think the reason for me feeling so bad was less to do with the work and more to do with the fact I'm not as sociable as most people, and so I felt like everything was over my head and everybody was ignoring me. I'm glad you managed to get over highschool and have more fun in college though :) And thank you for the luck; I'll mostly likely say a lot about college in this journal comic thing :)

I had a similar experience back while I was in high school x.x. I had gotten really depressed and was just a wreck during my junior year because I had all AP classes and it was too much for me to handle xD. College was a little less stressful because it was more laid back imo xD. Good luck with college :3

Sometimes harsh experiences makes us stronger and teach us how to deal with them in the future... I hope you'll find the strenght to fight all the difficulties and that this year will be better.
