Today feels like a good day

I had a lot of fun on this chapter. Back when I was in school I wished I had a friend like Frank that would impersonate me so I wouldn't have to go to registration. I had a very poor relationship with my form tutor lol. Field Day will be the only crossover Space Pack and Hawk and Flo Adventures has so i'm going to do the best I can with the current set up. Sefra 14 the creator of Space Pack has made it clear they want Field Day to be a one and done deal. So I'll respect their wishes

It's felt incredibly odd making Field Day, to me the purpose of Hawk and Flo Adventures was to escape how awful my life was in High School and yet here we are. With a story set in a High school and a character that wants to go to it. I often method act all the characters in my head when I write the dialogue and hearing me say the stuff Blake is saying in this comic felt really really strange.

As a kid I day dreamed a lot and had an active imagination. One way I used to cope was I'd come up with silly theories on what's really going on in the seedy underbelly of my old High school.

I had the idea for Field Day the same day I came up with Hawk and Flo Adventures as a kid I believed the reason my school was so bad was because there was an illegal government laboratory with Experiments underneath it. Scientists would be taken in a van blindfolded and at 10PM they would work underground until 5AM in the morning. I also believed there was an alien Mothership that was using a cloaking device over the school that was monitoring the illegal underground experiments. Turns out years later the reason it was actually so bad is because the head teacher embezzled money out of the school. No government labs have been found underneath it at the time of writing folks, it was just a crummy place.

Part of me wishes that wacky conspiracy theory turned out to be true, but alas there is no evidence to suggest theirs any weight whatsoever to my childhood imagination at the time of writing ^^;.
