Damn, dgriff! you just made me realize that I've been using a spiked shape for that same effect since the beginning of the comic in every ocassion and now I go and slap that damn thing!

The diamond thing just represents surprise. You can find it in most manga. It's a convention just like the sweat drop you often see on characters' heads...
sweet! Nice motion lines on the hat. Just a little confused as to what that floating "spark" star-shaped.. thingy.. is there by the one dude's nose. Am I just missing something?
It's cool, I tend to "miss something" a lot lately. LOL
