Because short skirts are hot? And... Swedish for "Clearance sale", eh? Nice detail, I never would have guessed. In this context, "slut" may actually share a common root with German "Schluss" - "Schlussverkauf" being "clearance sale" too! Oh, and now that I'm reading this text again, Aria's first two speech bubbles are in fact very close to what I originally envisioned this scene to be about. I didn't give this much thought after I had approved of Sebastian's script, but it's nice to read it again and see it works just the way I intended it to. "Bureaucracy, police force, political weight". Remember these words, true believers, for they might become more important as HA and Bombshell continuity move along!

You don't realize how much I laughed at all the comments I found from the tourists who've gone to Sweden and took pics of signs that say "slut rea" which actually means something like "clearance sale..." ... but anyway, the important thing that's got me boggled is... why did I draw Aria's skirt so short?!?!?

I've spotted the AD poster... the REA is over my head though. I really like the script. It's comes across like it's supposed to, two educated people having a serious discussion... which is well handled. Good job!

Wordy is right. But yeah, I sort of had to distill everything down into one page of dialogue. XD In hindsight, I might have portrayed Sweden a bit unfairly... We do send Swedish soldiers, volunteers out around the world frequently. But the main idea remains, Sweden doesn't start or fight wars head-on. Funny thing about this page is that the character Aria is talking to is another creation of mine, Sven Eriksson. Only in my stories, he's mute. Subconsciously, I might have taken a few liberties from my initial plans for canon stories and thrown some of those elements away to further cement the separate HA continuity. And since everyone assumed that Rea is the name of some manga, while the fact that they're in Sweden passes over their heads, let me enlighten you... 'Rea' is the word us Swedes use for 'Big Sale'. That's why I like Fuku, he does his research.

Nice page. No idea about Rea, although Wiki has [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rea#People]some suggestions[/url]. If it is a reference to any of those listed (and that's a big IF!), I'd take a guess at the [i]Tenchi Muyo![/i] character. But my knowledge of manga and anime is pretty limited, so that's very likely a complete red herring!
