SympleSymon: I'm glad we've met your vision of who Relik is supposed to be! It's never easy with so many characters (literally) floating around, so it's good to know we're doing something right! ^_^ Sebastian: Those are the kind of continuity errors I LOVE to ignore :P (Also, thanks! But my "envisioning" really only consisted of two sentences, if I remember correctly.) DAJB: Not sure how your nearly missing this page has to do with my changing the thumbnail, but I'm glad you're here ;-) And yes, fukujinzuke did such a great job here.

Another page that I just wrote, but Joachim envisioned. So he deserves credit for making Relik more relatable as a character in this failed rescue mission. Fuku delivers a splendid page, as always! Anyone notice that Aria's communicator was in the other ear a couple of pages ago? Of course, it could just be Bombshell having mathing ear rings in both fashion as well as function. Yeah, let's run with that. ;)

I love this page so much because it perfectly portrays everything I set Relik out to be - that is, even though he's an alien with an advanced piece of tech, it doesnt make him perfect or invincible. If anything, he's more human than humans, prone to failure and defeat. And this page is such a time when his humanity and anguish shine through. Kudos to the writer! And great art as always!

Wow...I'm glad comics do show heroes not getting there in time quite alot. It shows that they're only human..they can't do everything. Very powerful first panel...good job.
