He was a founding member, AND Aegis was specifically mentioned--with Aegis member Plot Twist joining in---in the second story arc. I do believe Literacysuks1 has said that there's sort of a dual thing going on, that he feels free to ignore the rest of the HU Universe, but that HU universe can have an Acrobat, Aegis, etc. Sort of like Savage Dragon at Image. Nothing committed either way, but it may be an Earth-1/Earth-2 thing going on. No worries. There is definitely AN Acrobat in the HU-nverse, and AN Aegis. If they're just duplicates of the ones in the ACROBAT strip, or if they're the same, only literacysuks1 knows. And really--as long as he keeps producing such excellent stories, and allows others to use his concepts, it doesn't make any difference.

As mentioned before, Aegis loaned their teleport technology to Heroes Unite by HU's second adventure, and the Commander's firt appearance.
