I forgot their gloves. I believe proper ladies of the 1930s would be wearing gloves. On the other hand, neither Regan nor Cara is the epitome of proper, so “oh well.”
This background wasn't too terribly painful, probably because I don't have to draw it again. It helped that I used a reference this time around.
I debated trying to do some kind of black and white or sepia toning to indicate “flashback.” But in the end, just stuck with plain old color.
ozoneocean: Ah, the 30s. A little breath of fresh air between world wars. Chuckle. This being a flashback sequence, there's just one shot of the cafe...on to another set.
Mmm, that 30's were nice ^^
Cafe Black? That's quite cool. I'm a sucker for scenes that tale place outside cafes. I think they're on of my fave places.
Looks quite crisp and well done :) I think the men would need hats- gloves were usually better to keep around, but for the coffee they may have had them on the table. maybe.

Tantz_Aerine: Hats! D'oh! Heh. My lack of attention to detail is showing. More specifically, the disinterest in clothing detail.
