The Elf Strikes Back

In which Talis “blows off” Lex. He's usually a rather tolerant guy, except where Lex is concerned. He uses an air spell to shove her off him.
Talis is a pacifist, meaning, for the most part, he turns the other cheek, as it were. That doesn't mean, however, that he lacks defensive abilities, particularly magic. After all, he helped Regan cheat her way through magic school and was himself a star pupil.
Nowadays, he has “a problem” and can't always access his magic. But he manages this time, and uses a spell to get rid of Lex. Since she can fly short distances, it isn't like he really did anything to hurt her, so it doesn't count as violence and doesn't violate his pacifist vow.
The middle two panels go into a right-to-left mode because it felt like they needed to be arranged that way, not out of any desire to emulate manga.
September. Huh. How did that happen?
Thanks. P.K.

ozoneocean: Bwah. Perhaps you mean, "to cut the cheese?" Tantz_Aerine: Talis is my favorite character. He started out as a minor character and then...grew.

There are more "munde" ways to use "air" to get rid of people, tehehehehe ^^ But it's nice that he's there to comfort her ^^

I really like Talis. And interesting background info! Hm... why does he have a problem accessing his magic? Also love the panel where Regan has her head in her hands. Well executed!
