5.025 - Den Mother

What's it take to be a den mother to a rowdy crowd of teenaged supervillains? Actually being a mother helps!
Randy and Joey's mom, Linda is a former Marine, former supervillain, current wife and mother.
You may ask: Why would any mom allow teens to commit superpowered crimes, much-less HELP?
Because Linda has done the same. She realizes how harsh the world is (a superpowered world, at that) and wants her kids to succeed and thrive - no matter what it takes!
Consider her to be one of those parents who'd let their kids have a toke of weed here and there, rationalizing that “as long as they do it in moderation under her supervision, she can make sure they stay safe and not go overboard” - or something.
Besides, if she told them that they couldn't use their powers for their own personal gains, she'd be a huge hypocrite.

In that last panel, you can imagine Mo and Jake thinking: “She's giving US crap, but if she only knew what was going on with Joey and Peaches 45 minutes or so ago…”
