Earlier in the narrative, Sphinx stated that the Psionosphere does strange things to One's sense of self.
He wasn't kiddin'!!

Peaches is once again regressed to childhood.
Moriah is done up like some sort of Olde Warrior type and, apparently is ‘glitching’ like an A.I. hologram with a virus.
Skylar is The Ghost With The Most.
Andrew has gone full-on Bug-Alien and Jake has no mouth and a speaker in his chest!

… and Joey is presenting as Lex Luthor.

I think Sigmund Freud would have a field day with these kids.
