Awareness of why you're eating what you're eating is key to a healthy diet. Learning what foodstuffs have what nutrients and the benifits to those nutrients helps you realize why your diet works, and therefore, the pros and cons of the different foods you eat.
Basically If you want to have pizza, have pizza. But recognize that pizza is a flavor food, so fill up on salad, then have a slice of pizza.
The sacrifice isn't as noticeable, but the weightloss sure is.

Mine? Oh, no. If you check out my other comic Children at Play, like the first few strips (the only ones that are *really* finsished) you can see what it looks like. It's like an old cartoon character. Although I can totally see where'd you get that from the avatar.

This is a very inspirational comic. I have been trying to make myself lose weight for some time now and I believe you have inspired me to actually go through with it. I love your tips on how to eat right, rather than what to eat. I'll have to put those to use.

Tip: Never eat at Checker's, they hide their nutrition information. They're probably up to something shady.
