Ok so I totally did two non-journal comics in a row this weekend. Very whoops. My B. My shading does now and has always totally sucked, but after the barebones art post yesterday I wanted to do SOMETHING that had a little effort in it.
Biking, to me is a great “ramp up to regular workouts” exercise. You can just sit there and pedal, its not too hard. But as a result you don't gain alot from it. I'm glad I was able to drop it so soon. The important part is that I'm still doing an hour of cardio, now it's just an hour of more effective cardio.

I'm so glad it's finally warm enough to start walking to work again. It's walking back home again, up the hill, after work, that I sometimes have trouble getting excited about.

Its pretty sweet when people whose comics you read comment on your own. Great work. I have to say the idea behind this series is rather brilliant. Keep up the good work.

Awesome comic idea, man. Good luck with everthing. A favorite breakfast of mine that you might try (I can't eat just fruit and toast for breakfast, or I stay hungry for the reast of the day,) is a cup of yogurt (I like Stonyfield Farm non-fat fruit on the bottom) with some fairly high fiber grown-up cereal in it (I prefer Quaker Oat Squares.) Something about the protein and calcium and fiber combination is really great for energy and hunger, and I've lost some noticable weight just by changing that part of my diet and walking everywhere. Anyway, good luck. I'll keep watching, cheering you on, and offereing unsolicited advice.

I got a good idea for excercise! Mortal Kombat... Just rush out there and challenge somebody to Mortal Kombat.
