Report Card Day
Tantz_Aerine on Feb. 10, 2007
Hey everyone! This time, I'm a day early- which is great if I am to write my chapter for The Art of Veiling book 3 and update Wolf and Thur and Viera on time this week. Woot!
And here, we get into the head of that straight A student… an experience that may not have been too prudent to have after all. This is a taste of what many students have to put up with, and through them, me too :( Ah well.
Till next week!

Gasp! Such poses! XD I noticed the "again" in the sixth panel. Poor straight-A-student girl... I hate to think of what her home life might be like. Her speech rhymes in places though; "Why do I spazz? Do I have ADHD?/ Why do I still watch Pokemon on TV?" It could totally be made into a poem. XD I like the little touches on this page -- the sweatdrops, the flashes of realisation, the steam-lines, the emphasis on how tightly she's clutching her face by being able to see her bones through her hands... and the squiggly line of doom and despair. XD They really add a lot to the atmosphere of the page, lightening the mood and complimenting the melodrama of the student's speech. ;3 I'm like that too though. XD When they give us our grades, I'm like "Oh crap I'm going to do so badly", because -- whereas the student belives she's an overachiever and not realistically worthy of the grades -- I'm an -underachiever-, and just don't work hard enough. So I worry about how my work, or lack thereof, will affect my grades but I always get A's anyway... It's such an unfair imbalance. xD;
