The artillery pieces gave me sooo much headache since I dunno their exact mechanism and parts.
had to do lots of research to just bring those beasts on page, I dunno
how can I manage the rest of the details of the rest of the army gears,
but I guess I'll try to manage it.
the devil is in the details
stay tunes for the next page!
please drop comments, critiques and anything that might help me work harder or correct a mistake!

For researching weapons it's best to find out the name of the specific weapon you wish to depict and search Google images for it. example the cannon in the first panel is a Pak 40. There are crazy people out there who take whole albums of pictures of existing military equipment. I don't know how much you want to invest in reference books but Osprey publishing is renowned for doing brief and inexpensive books on weapons and equipment with excellent illustrations. And then there are model builders. Try Armorama, Kit-builder network forums for models of what you want to depict. Try to contact the builders and ask for specific views or search for photo albums of equipment.

For someone who doesn't know the details of how the guns work you certainly did an excellent job of depicting them. Great work.
