Unemployable

Two tips for you on applying for a job:
1. Never call to “see if a place is hiring”. It smacks of laziness. If you are not a go-getter enough to physically inquire, then most people see you as someone that's not going to put fourth any kind of effort, ever.
2. When you do go and apply…make sure you bring a pen. In all likelihood you will be handed a job application. If you have to ask for a pen, then the potential employer is going to see you as someone that can't think beyond the tip of their nose.
I hate the whole hiring process (from either end). You can never truly assess someone's character/personality in such a brief amount of time. I've had the wool pulled over my eyes hiring some people before. Some people just excel at BS and selling themselves.
With so few jobs out there…there's more people vying for one position then I ever remember before. Might as well improve your chances.
BTW…Snog says you all can use him as a reference if you'd like.
