and we're back to the present, where we can see kyo kept juu's scribblings…which were fun to come up with. kyo is a kind of character who really finds it hard to let go of anything, as hard as he tries. which is really unhealthy, duh.
we're back to the hyper-coloured snap-focused present. what grey meant by ‘your fault’ was not that juu's death in particular was his fault, but more that kyo's breakup with zara, his feelings of responsability, his inability to let go, etc were his fault as well as juu's death (indirectly). while nasty and blunt, this is the kind of thing kyo does need to hear. there's only so far you can push yourself into denial before it becomes dangerous to yourself.
and in a way, he was craving this truth all the long. otherwise, why tell anyone?
