interesting fact: the internet does not exist in inhuman. oh, small networking webs exist on planets, but there's no interplanetary net where they all convene and meet. as a result, the net has sort of dwindled in popularity in their future. the next step in technology and communication came along.

what sartre *is* using is a large database full of records, newsclippings and general information and publication from reliable sources. sort of like the records at town hall, only stored remotely. this is the closest thing to the internet, but doesn't really follow in its footsteps because ONLY records and newsclippings are placed into it…and one needs a high-ranking access code to even look at the majority of it.

not that there aren't those who make a living off cracking those access codes, of course…
