This was pre-pandemic (2016) so remote work was hardly a thing. Commutes sucked then, too, though, even though they were normalized.

Part of the workflow I used when making this comic was drawing with REALLY thin and organic lines and REALLY lazy lassos. The hope was that it would give it a moment-in-time look. I'm not sure that's what it gave it, but it certainly has an aesthetic.
