Let the hair grow out and go back to that wonderful dark color. Many Christians never bought into the whole blonde thing that's an American protestant thing.
I'm speaking about general cultural iconography not individual perception. It's the general iconography of American protestant religion that gave Jesus blonde hair. Generally otherwise he's always depicted with brown hair with the halo being gold. There are Byzantine depictions with olive skin and black hair the image has usually been changed to match the prevailing
Preferences of the population. I could go on and on about this as the history of Abramaic religion is a interest of mine going way back.
