I change mine occasionally for something that amuses me or that I have designed myself. I had to change to my current self-made one after someone PQ'd me saying that my last one scared the bejeebers out of her!

For some reason, I've kept the same avatar since the beginning of my comic. Just recently I decided to update mine because my art style has changed since I started KD.
