And there you have it, the end of this issue that nearly took a decade to finish. This is a hopeful note to close on, and a bit of a way to potentially segue into a rewrite of the Oz books I've been doing (slowly), where things start mostly similar to the original story before moving further into their own thing. Don't know when I'll get the first book done, but hopefully it won't take as long as some things I've tried to finish (like this issue–I'll continue to rag on myself for this huge delay).
Now, I'm sure people may wonder: where does this leave Karabear Comics Unlimited? I'm thinking that next I'm going to post an issue that's been already done for Almighty Protectors, where they and this comic cross over. From there, I'm not too sure. I want to actually do more with these characters, but priority is on the Protectors. However, I think I'll keep this one at second priority (full list in order would be Almighty Protectors, Karabear Comics Unlimited, Wonder Team, Defenders of America, Karabear Comics Presents, Elemental Four, Black Wraith, and Wonder Super). I've toyed with retiring its current name, though, since it's no longer the anthology series it started as, and can get confused with Karabear Comics Presents. This one might change its name to “The Unlimited”, as it was billed in the Almighty Protectors crossover. While it would still try to focus on both individual stories and team ones, the name change could help focus on the fact that this is about a particular team of superheroes, rather than a group of potentially unrelated stories. Yes, that means Tempore might not have the focus stories on here anymore (despite starting the whole thing), but he's become less of a major player anyways, and has more relevance to Almighty Protectors right now, anyways.
This was the conclusion to my involvement in the 2016 Halloween Cameo Caper. Wherever we go from here, we know that now we won't be left hanging in a storyline. Now, to go finish out that stalled issue in Fiendish Fellowship…
