Sorry! I'm late because I was reading your comics before updating. I almost caught up with all comics :)

Yeah! We have the Chapter 9 starting with 3 pages! (more like 2.5 pages…). This bald lady is one of the Queens and she’s an important character in the next stories (one can only wish).

Yeah, when Cyrenna sees the world through Spades’ lens, it is a metaphor ^^

It's like those nested dolls. There's always another one inside. Layers upon layers of dolls or in this case conspiracies.

To be fair, there were many hints in the story :) In the chapter 5, Viccini mentioned about Paolo craziness and his little monster's training. Still in #5, we have Spades talking with Robin about Aeolian Islands training. In #6 and #7, we have Ricci (the captain who took down Cyrenna in the restaurant) talking about that. It's more like a conclusion of information than more new information :D

Yup, here comes a bunch of expository part of the story. unfortunately, necessary. Usually I avoid that, but in this kind of story with many layers, it's a necessary evil.
