yeah, i get the feeling that the combined running time of all 3 movies would be about 30 minutes if steve was death in those movies. He'd probably just say something like "oh no you don't" then hit them with his bat, shoot them with his shotgun, or something else like that right away.

I love the Final Destination trilogy...it is just stupid senseless completely illogical death and destruction... my fav. scene from the third is the sunbed scene...or the guy getting killed by barbed wire between two fence posts...but I am not sure that was 3.
