I doubt you all expected her to have a real, logical reason for handing over Steve… Probably because getting rid of him is as much an objective as saving lives.
And yes. If it was just the goblins, Nemo & crew would mop the floor with them.. They're nautical legends for a reason.

Well I do think that the Goblin is a smart one... Parrots hurt like hell with their beaks and a plushy of one and keep the image. First the claws sting a lot and their beaks can cut wires. Also Pe'arl has a Death Wish! Now that is the hidden pun.
