Regarding “drop you like a fly” - I don't even really know what that means. I guess he'd off him not unlike a human swatting a fly - with very little thought, save the impulse to rid oneself of the annoyance.

I love doing the mood shading when he says something dark. I enjoy making it a lot more effective than when Detective Arrows says things and you get that mood Noir-style shading… and everyone looks at him like he's a nut.

When Death shades his panels, people cower in fear.

(Though he's probably saying that to himself, so it's more of a brooding, foreboding thing only privy to himself and us. Or maybe not. I dunno, I just write and draw this stuff.)
