Chapter 1: Wannabe | 10
xmung on July 25, 2010
This page introduces Go!Anna (aka Annie Summers)- for those unfamiliar with Australian wildlife, the “goanna” is a large reptile… beyond the name and the tail though Go doesn't share a lot else in common with the lizards. Also, she's an Australian Aboriginal.
(Also yes, this page was up for about 5 hours yesterday… rather stupidly I got the calendar thingy in the uploader wrong - grrr - so I decided to take it down and put it back up today. Sorry for anyone who has already seen this page, you might have also missed the Brian and Elvis page from Sunday so just click the back button to view that. New page tomorrow… continuing Go's investigation!)

@Ozi - Yes the do. Look at Spider-man and Detective Jeane Wolfe. Befor she died they had a good working relationship.

@Abt_Nihil: thanks! a lot of the first chapter is mostly introductions but there's a little bit of action thrown in for good measure. @alschroeder: true - plus her personal life is a mess like Peter Parker's! @AzuJOD: ...and a second one to be introduced in a few more pages. @sux: they sure are, there are a variety of species but the largest can be over 6 foot long! Thanks for the comments and support!

You've got a knack at creating great characters and establishing them extremely efficiently!

One thing I like about GoAnna is that she's sort of like Spider-Man used to be...an outsider, one who went through MAGELLAN training but doesn't work with the main teams, but operates solo.

Y'know, Australian superheros are rare, and Aboriginal superheros are rarer still!
